William Brady - Fireman 2nd Class

William Brady was born circa 1843 in Middlesex County, New Jersey and re-enlisted on 6 February 1864 at the New York, NY Naval Rendezvous as a Fireman 2nd Class for a 1 year term[1].

Brady was attached to the Tecumseh on 20 April 1864 [2]. He was reported lost with her during the Battle of Mobile Bay on 5 August 1864 as reported in a Navy casualty lists.[3], [4].

He was approximately 21 years old and had been in the Navy for one year and seven months.
