George A. Wooley - Ordinary Seaman

George A. Wooley was born circa 1839 in Jersey City, NJ and enlisted on 19 April 1864 at the 14th State Street, New York, NY Naval Rendezvous as an Ordinary Seaman for a 2 year enlistment[1].

Wooley was attached to the Tecumseh on 20 April 1864 [2]. On 29 July 1864, he was admitted to Naval Hospital Pensacola with chronic diarrhea. He died there on 27 August at 3:20 PM. [3]

Wooley was 27 years old and had been in the Navy for six months.
